Lothor was once human, known as Kiya over twenty years ago. He studied at the Wind Ninja Academy
beside his brother Kanoi for years, him as an earth ninja and Kanoi as an air. He mastered his element and became a skilled
ninja, but it wasn't enough. He began to delve into the black arts, willing to do anything for more power. When he saw the
Samurai amulet and felt the strength it possessed, his desire for it drove him off the edge and he revealed his true nature.
He was banished, stripped of his name and title, and he took on the name Lothor, that of an ancient warrior. He drifted in
space and wasn't seen for decades.
But then his time came, and he found a way back to earth, bringing the many followers he'd gathered
under him and launching a full-scale attack on the Wind Ninja Academy, where he once called home. He captured all but three
of the students, and unable to kill his brother, he used his magic and trapped him in the most demeaning form he could think
of, that of a guinea pig.
Lothor wasn't counting on the three power rangers showing up, but he was ready. The Thunder
Rangers were easy to decieve and he wove a web of lies to get them to fight for him, resorting to magic when they learned
the truth.
Of course they left him in the end and joined the fight against him, but even with the addition
of the Samurai ranger, Lothor wasn't outmatched. He continued to come up with plan after plan that nearly brought them down.
His main downfall would probably be his choices of minions, and the burden of his two nieces to look after. Lothor was superior
to those he led, and it showed.
After everything else had failed, he turned to his last resort. The Abyss of Evil, where all
darkness lay between death and life. Releasing dozens of monsters, it looked like he had finally done it, the rangers stood
no chance. He went to their headquarters and destroyed it, seemingly killing Sensei Kanoi as well, and then joined the fight
himself. It was all looking up.
But sometimes things are unpredictable, especially when dealing with magic, and in the end it
all fell apart. The rangers released the ninja students still imprisoned on his ship, and the blast that should have killed
his brother instead restored him to his true form. And although he nearly destroyed all six of the rangers, those of the Wind
Academy managed to rise again, and with only the power of their elements, sent Lothor himself into the Abyss of Evil. To wait.
